In this week’s Inhumation, Maxwell demonstrates why it’s always best to keep a cool head.
I’ve been feeling like my expressions have gotten a bit stale/stiff lately, and I think it’s because I have a tendency to draw characters’ faces last, forcing me to cram their features into whatever space is left after I’ve finished the rest of the pose.
So I’m trying a new thing where I draw the face first and fit the head around it. So far I’m liking the results.
This week on Inhumation, Maxwell earns his Oscar. (He didn’t win one, but he has one. Don’t ask him how he got it.)
A new page of Furcifer City is up for Patreon for supporters! The girls are out for a night on the town.

I’ve been invited to participate in the CoLAB Arts’ Comic In A Day competition! As the name suggests, it’s similar to 24-Hour Comic Day. Teams of writers and illustrators will be paired up and given 24 hours to create a 24 page comic. The completed comics will be showcased at the Alfa Art Gallery and live readings of the comics will be performed by actors. It looks like it’s going to be a lot of fun, so if you are going to be in the New Brunswick, NJ area that weekend come by and check out my horribly rushed and sleep-deprived art!
