Gertrude leans over Theo’s shoulder.
Gertrude: “Hmm? That’s all?”
Theo: “Uh, yes…?”

Gertrude tries to make eye contact with Theo, but he is unable to meet her gaze.

Panel 3
Finally, Theo puts his hands to his face in frustration as he breaks.
Theo: “Uuuuuugh. No.”

Panel 4
Theo: “Look Gran…”

Panel 5
We pull out to a wide exterior shot of the hut. The staircase from the plinth that is sits upon winds down into the forest of glowing trees below. In the background, the plaza where the rest of the party is taking place is just visible.
Theo: “There’s something I really need to tell you.”

Panel 6
We cut back to Maxwell. The Warden stands behind him watching implacably as Maxwell backs away from Thomas looming in the foreground.
Maxwell: “Oh. Shit.”

Panel 7
Maxwell: “Thomas…”
Thomas looms over Maxwell, a full head taller than his older brother. Thomas glowers down at Maxwell, who had his hands up in an attempt to placate his very large and very (justifiably) angry brother.
